The location of the hotel was great, just a short walk from a famous abbey and beautiful national park. It was perfect for exploring the area and enjoying the stunning scenery. the staff were friendly and accommodating, making us feel welcome during our stay. The cooked breakfast buffet offered a wide variety of options, ensuring a satisfying start to the day.
The hotel had a dated decor that was in need of updating. Upon entering, there was a noticeable old smell that lingered throughout the building, which was off-putting.

The hotel is situated in the heart of the city center, just a stone's throw away from a beautiful and world-famous library and modern art, medieval religious and natural history collections. the breakfast buffet offers plenty of bread rolls and jams, and the cooked breakfast is comprehensive. the staff is friendly and helpful, offering a warm welcome to every guest on arrival.
Some parts of the hotel decor need a revamp with old-fashioned furnishings and a slightly foisty smell when you first walk in.

the hotel had a hearty breakfast that was perfect fuel for getting out and exploring the surroundings. I loved the warm hospitality of the hotel staff and the fact that they made us feel right at home. one of the best things about the hotel was the tranquility that surrounded it, allowing us to truly relax.
The decor in the hotel was a bit outdated and the first impression wasn't quite welcoming. the room had a lingering smell which could have been removed with better ventilation.
